Can I use Nook without an account?
Yes. Nook works locally without an account. An account is only needed when you want to connect devices through Nook Sync.
Can I use Nook offline?
Yes. Nook is local-first. Keep writing and organizing your notebook without an internet connection. Sync catches up when a connection returns.
Why aren't my devices syncing?
Check that both devices are signed into the same Nook account. Make sure each device can reach the internet, then run Sync again.
Does signing out delete my local notes?
No. Signing out ends the remote session for that device but leaves the local notebook available for local use.
My verification email opens localhost. What should I do?
Current Nook versions use a six-digit verification code directly inside the native Windows or Android app. Update Nook if an older email opens localhost, then return to the app and enter the code there.
Why is Android marked testing?
The Android distribution path is still being prepared for production signing and store release. Treat current Android access as testing, not as a public production download.
